No il 1 Aprile è ancora lontano... non è uno scherzo! L'ITTF ha modificato la regola in cui si parla dei "coverings" ovvero delle coperture, in pratica le gomme.
La regola modificata (tradotta in italiano) è questa:

A new point of rules is to include under 2.4
Racket coverings are to be used as aproved by the ITTF.
Physical, chemical or other treatment of raket coverings (with the exception of normal wear), which affect the play characteristics, friction, the appearance, the color, structure etc. are inadmissibly.
I was in China for the world championship and in fact there is a new regulation which says… nothing!
The rubber has to be use like approved… But this only the rubber which is approved and not the sponge… So we don’t give any modification to the racket covering as approved… Also, there isn’t any control for this inexistent rule. Only the e-NEZ and RAE device are judge… To confirm this, every brand will continue to sell booster
